Membership Terms & Conditions

Grounded Presence Therapeutics memberships are designed to make regular massage and Reiki care easier to maintain. These terms explain how memberships work, what is included, and what to expect when booking, changing, or ending a membership.

1. Membership Billing and Monthly Credits

Memberships are billed automatically each month. Each successful monthly payment provides one credit for the massage or Reiki service included in your membership.

Membership payments are nonrefundable once processed, except when a refund or adjustment is needed to correct a billing error or duplicate charge.

2. Credit Rollover and Expiration

Unused included monthly service credits may roll over for up to two months, subject to their original expiration dates. Credits must be used before they expire.

The rollover benefit applies only to included monthly membership credits. The monthly allowance for discounted additional sessions does not roll over or accumulate.

3. Booking Appointments

Appointments are booked through MassageBook and are subject to availability. All clients may book up to 60 days in advance.

Members are responsible for scheduling and using their membership credits before they expire. If you need assistance booking with an existing credit, please contact Grounded Presence Therapeutics.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments without notice, may result in forfeiture of the membership credit for that session.

Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Grounded Presence Therapeutics, taking individual circumstances into consideration.

5. Arrival Times and Late Arrivals

Please plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows time to use the restroom, get settled, and prepare for your session so we can begin at your scheduled start time.

If you arrive at your scheduled appointment time or after, your session will still end at its originally scheduled time. Late arrival may shorten your session, and your full membership credit will still be applied.

Arrivals 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the membership credit.

6. Membership Pauses

Members may request a temporary membership pause of up to 60 days, subject to approval by Grounded Presence Therapeutics.

During an approved pause, monthly billing and the issuance of new membership credits will be suspended. Existing credits remain subject to their original expiration dates and applicable membership terms.

At the end of the approved pause, the membership must be reactivated or canceled. Requests for an extension may be considered at the discretion of Grounded Presence Therapeutics.

To request a pause, members must contact Grounded Presence Therapeutics directly. Pauses must be approved before taking effect.

7. Membership Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting Grounded Presence Therapeutics directly. Cancellations are processed by Grounded Presence Therapeutics and are not completed automatically through the client's MassageBook account.

Members are encouraged to request cancellation before their next scheduled billing date to help avoid an additional membership charge.

Once a cancellation is processed, future membership billing and new monthly credits will stop. Payments already processed are nonrefundable, except to correct billing errors or duplicate charges.

Unused credits remain subject to their original expiration dates and applicable membership terms. After cancellation, remaining credits may need to be redeemed with assistance from Grounded Presence Therapeutics rather than through online booking.

Grounded Presence Therapeutics reserves the right to cancel a membership when necessary due to repeated policy violations, inappropriate behavior, or circumstances that prevent the provision of safe and professional care. Eligible unused credits will continue to be honored according to their original expiration dates and applicable membership terms.

8. Failed or Declined Payments

If a membership payment fails or is declined, members are responsible for updating their payment information and resolving the issue.

A seven-day grace period is allowed to resolve the payment issue. If payment remains unresolved after seven days, Grounded Presence Therapeutics may review the membership and determine whether it should be paused or canceled.

New membership credits are issued only after successful payment. Existing credits remain subject to their original expiration dates and applicable membership terms.

9. Massage Membership Benefits

The following benefits apply to the 60-minute and 90-minute massage memberships.

Complimentary enhancement: Each included monthly massage comes with one complimentary eligible enhancement: Essential Oils, Deep Blue® Rub, Cupping, or Himalayan Salt Foot Scrub.

Discounted additional massages: Active massage members receive 10% off up to three additional eligible massage sessions per month. These sessions are beyond the massage included in the membership, are subject to availability, and must be paid for at the discounted rate at checkout. The limit resets each month; unused discounted sessions do not roll over or accumulate.

Ghidrah's Mind Body Spirit member discount: Active massage members receive 15% off eligible a la carte Himalayan Salt Room and Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna sessions at Ghidrah's Mind Body Spirit. The discount does not apply to retail purchases, BioMat sessions, or packages.

Complimentary enhancements apply only to the massage included in the monthly membership. Additional discounted massage sessions do not include a complimentary enhancement or add-on.

10. Reiki Membership Benefits

The following benefits apply to the monthly Reiki membership.

Complimentary mini hand massage: The included monthly Reiki session incorporates a complimentary mini hand massage.

Discounted additional Reiki sessions: Active Reiki members receive 10% off up to three additional eligible Reiki sessions per month. These sessions are beyond the Reiki session included in the membership, are subject to availability, and must be paid for at the discounted rate at checkout. The limit resets each month; unused discounted sessions do not roll over or accumulate.

Ghidrah's Mind Body Spirit member discount: Active Reiki members receive 15% off eligible a la carte Himalayan Salt Room and Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna sessions at Ghidrah's Mind Body Spirit. The discount does not apply to retail purchases, BioMat sessions, or packages.

The complimentary mini hand massage applies only to the Reiki session included in the monthly membership. Additional discounted Reiki sessions do not include complimentary upgrades or add-ons.

11. Gifting an Included Monthly Session

Members may gift an unused included monthly massage or Reiki session to another person if they are unable to use it themselves.

The gifted session includes the service covered by the membership and its applicable complimentary benefit, if any. A gifted massage includes one eligible complimentary enhancement. A gifted Reiki session includes the mini hand massage incorporated into the session.

Membership-only discounts and other member benefits do not transfer to the recipient. This includes the 15% discount on eligible Himalayan Salt Room and Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna sessions at Ghidrah's Mind Body Spirit.

Gifted sessions remain subject to the original credit's expiration date and applicable membership terms. To arrange a gifted session, members must contact Grounded Presence Therapeutics directly.

12. Member Responsibilities

Members are responsible for keeping their payment information current, scheduling appointments in a timely manner, and using credits before they expire. Membership benefits and discounts apply only as described in these terms and are subject to availability.

If membership credits are repeatedly left unused or allowed to expire, Grounded Presence Therapeutics may contact the member to discuss whether the membership continues to meet their needs. If the membership is no longer suitable, Grounded Presence Therapeutics may cancel it. Any remaining eligible credits will be honored according to their original expiration dates and applicable membership terms.
